Where are you going to be fishing? FG has a lot of shoreline and plenty of tasty smallies. Send me a pm.
Edit: I noticed your reply to the Strawberry report on piscispursuit's post. I have learned a lot from the fine fishermen/women on this board and I do not question their reports. There is only person (that I can think of) that stretches the truth but it is so obvious and repetitive that nobody pays any attention anymore. If you are looking to gain information than I would recommend that you do not question the reports of others. There are reports that brag about their catch (been a while for me) and their are reports that tell you how to catch them. I enjoy them both. If a member has a stellar day on the water, dialed in the fish catching method, posted a report on how he caught them, etc. why would you question his truth in a reply but ask his advice in a post?
I do not want to sound dramatic but I consider the members of BFT as a part of my family, I have a passion for fishing and I spend a lot of time on this forum, not just the Utah board. I have had to earn the respect of others by sharing information in order to gain information. The posts made on the forum are just a part of the big picture. pm's made by friends sharing information about fishing hotspots is where it is at, making a post is just a way to give back to all the fishermen who helped us out previously. Questioning a post has it's merits, you know how fishermen are [], but I've had 100+ fish days at the berry and I'm no trout fisherman. No more rum for me, I spoke my peace [laugh]

I got 'em last week in Cedar with the fly bud. They arent picky. they are mostly on spawn beds, so anything just about will do it. they pick up your bait, and move it off the bed. just be sure to set the hook before they spit. It is quite a way to fish for smallies. spot and stalk. even get 'em on topwater baits, or grasshopper/cicada type flies, if they are out. the hoppers out there are still kinda small, and not much cicada action to speak of this year
