[cool]I am having several "big wigs" from the Dallas Mavericks in for a "short day of fishing" They do not wish to catch big fish, just sit and relax and catch a few with no phone calls etc. I am taking them to East Canyon on thurs. I have fished East Canyon before. I think I have all the "right equipment". I consider myself a rather good troller and have been boating for fish over 30 years... I just want to provide some entertainment for these guys. Not Strawberry. Fished a ton and have forgotten so much about the place.
Any help with equipment and such would be appreciated. They do not want to still fish. Trolling and relaxing is the game for the day.l I don't want to go and be skunked. I can stand it if I am alone or with my fishing partners... but not these guys... Help please

Fished E.C. last night trolling firetiger #7 counddowns out 150 ft on lead core line. We had our best success by starting all the way back in the south arm and trolling the east side back towards the marina.

[#000050]You can always go back to the old reliable, pop gear and worms. This time of year, you willwant to be a little deeper, just put a 1/2 oz weight on the pop gear rudder and let it back about 125'. Should do the trick and you will catch lots of fish.[/#000050]
