A buddy of mine invited me up for a short camp out to Bear Lake this past weekend. I was stoked for the opportunity to get out on his boat and try my hand at fishing the lake for the first time. The fishing was a bit slow but I did manage to catch two BL Cuts. We didn't measure or weigh but my friend thought the larger of the cuts might of been around 8lbs or so. Largest trout I've ever caught. On the way home stopped by Birch Creek. Fishing here was pretty slow as well. My girlfriend did however drag in a nice cutthroat.
