I will be on cruthches so I need farely easy access area I am thinking Utah lake I would really like to get some carp and I am confident I can land anything from a sitting position worst case scenario I will have my wife there to get them on shore. So What I am wondering is any bait or spot recommendations for cats or carp preferably with directions as I dont know the lake very well. Or recommendation of another easy access lake please let me know. ANY help is appreciated. Thank you

I have heard of some pretty decent action going on after dark at both the Lindon Boat Harbor, as well as the Provo Marina for cats off the rocks. You would have to pay ($5 at Lindon, and i believe $9 at Provo-if you don;t have a state parks pass), but you can drive right up and fish 5 feet out of the vehicle. If you are interested, Lindon Boat Harbor you can take the 1600 N. exit from I-15 and go west. When you hit Geneva Road, Go Right and Then Turn Left at the next light (200 S.). Follow thisroad until it Tees at the dump. Go left, then follow the roaduntil it curves to the right. You go over the train tracks, then as the road bends back left, the boat harbor is straight ahead. Provo Marina, take Provo Center Street Exit from I-15, then head west. Follow thisroad all the way to the lake, and you run right into the harbor. Good Luck if you decide to head out.
P.S. Bug Spray is a good idea.

Thank you guys for the help. Like I said not familiar with the lake is the provo harbor the area known as mud lake? I fished there last summer and couldnt believe how stained the water was which is why I assume mud lake is that correct?

for carp, use dough bait. a simple mix of flour eggs and powdered garlic will do the trick! good luck out there![Wink]
