My family all left me for verious destinations this week , from girls camp to scout camp to portland. With only myself and my trusty lab here we decided to hit the mountains for a couple days , and sleep under the cool night stars. Along the way we hit potters with some success for albino and rainbow planters. (however the dwr stocked some larger 17-20" in many of these lakes while we were there) Millers flat, "ditto" , cleveland; windy and nada. Electric was slow , 1 17' cut. scofeild was early fast action for small planters with a fly and bubble. Benches and bouldger was good for recent (wed) planters. Just a casual trip for the dog and I , So we did'nt fish real hard. But it was good to get out of the heat, and enjoy great company , And no honeydo list!!

Whats up fuzzy?
Ya this trip was a "get the dog and get out of the valley trip" I didn't hit cleveland very hard, I guess I should have. When I talked to the fish cop they said they had put a few of the larger fish in all those lakes this week just for kicks. I'll be back up that way in a couple of weeks, but more over to petes hole and up to snow lake. It's always nice to hit that area.
