I have not been able to post much this year (computer down) and I lost almost all my pictures old and some new...

Lets start from February , I'm only counting soft water trips..

The Powell trip was the start of three days of this year with rain and wind but still lots of fun and a few fish..
Then we hit Quail and the Sand for five days in March and back to Powell for five more days..
Still no soft water around the SLC area [:p] ..

Got a line on a house boat so back to Powell to check it out only to get so much wind for two days and was not able to see or get to the house boat where it was moored maybe next week will be a better time, back to Powell and one good day of fishing and then the wind and rain..[mad] But great fishing for stripes and crapple.

April was looking up with some lakes opening up at last, Utah lake Willard and Deer Creek for starts, East canyon and others and oh yes Mexico trip as well and how can I miss Jordanelle and Starvation or Pelican ...

So far this year 68 days of fishing and over 542 fish or more from trout bass walleye stripers crappie Giles, and cat fish...
I will try to post a few pictures of what I have...

Cliff -- I've offered twice. This will be the third offer (third time is the charm?). I'll be your huckleberry. You let me take care of that computer. I can't handle you not having your computer, nor losing your pics -- unacceptable! (fire your current computer guy!)

Are you sure it hasn't been 70 days? And 545 fish? How do you keep track of this stuff without your computer??

Some day, Cliff, you'll graduate and move on to the next level where counting and keeping track won't matter that much to you. The important thing will be getting out -- posting the report afterwards won't be the reason you fish.

keep up the good work. My offer to help you with your computer still stands.

Ok - I'm gonna take issue with you.

Not only do you have "days on the water fishing", but what some may not know is that you also donate your time on the water to help others.

I ran into Bassrods this spring at Starvation early one morning when he was taking a couple of teens out in his boat for a day on the water in a junior bass fishing contest.

So Bassrods you get some good Mojo going along with your regular Mojo.

Was you up there to fish or helping with the rug rats[Wink] if fishing how did you do???

Just fishing. That was our first trip of the year to Starvation.

Did great with big perch, limited success with eyes, surprise of the trip was fat rainbows - three of the 19" variety in 4 casts at noon.

Good of you (and a bunch of other volunteers) to take the boys out. It was a quiet morning and we could hear some of their success early morning up in Knights Hollow area.
