I will be heading up there late Sat. for just a few hours (6:00 - 8:30 pm) to test a trolling motor. If I have time might try to do some perch jerkin if I can find them. If not, just trolling for trout will be good also. Never fished for perch in Rockport before, would they be deep or shallow in the evening? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

See my report from thismorning. I have heard that there are no pearch in The Port, but there are plenty of smallies, and some nice trout.
