Spent a few days with scouts at the Rock Cliff area of Jordanelle last week. Spent some time catching branches on the upper Provo, and spent some time on the Jordanelle shore. The fishing was not very good, a little luck with drop shots, but the boys had fun and we all came back alive, I guess that is what is important.

Would have been nice to take the boat, but there are too many hoops to jump through if it is a scout activity.

I'm taking my dad to Willard for the first time this week, hoping that it is better than the other times I've been there this year. He has been wanting to get on Willard since Doug Miller had an episode on the wiper boils years and years ago. Here's hoping we can hook him into a fish or two, or three, but no more than three, I want to catch the rest [Smile]

Thanks for posting your report, too bad the catching was so slow but I'm sure the Scouts had fun anyway.
If you're after wipers at Willard, the evening would be the best time to find some boils and the last hour before dark seems to be the best from most reports. Good luck, hope you Dad gets into them. WH2

We got close enough to the boils last night to get excited, but not close enough to pull any fish out of them.
Back at the boat ramp, we ended up in the middle of a large boil that was just small wipers, so we caught those for a few minutes so that we didn't add another skunked trip to the Willard list this year
