Hey how's it goin everybody. It's been a few since ive added new pics of my latest trips to the harbor in newport beach as well as my latest updates to my tube. To name a few I added a hinged tray for more accurate measuring ndling of fish, a bike hook to hold my fins while I enter and exit the water, and a more accesible and quick way to access hooks and small tackle from an external tackle box that I added on using a PVC frame attached to a 2x4 block inside my side pouches. Its been hard not to just pack up and go with all this great weather that we have had down here not to mention,(with a litlle persuasion) I have finally started to build a small floatilla with friends amd family. I added a couple of pictures of the fish ive been catching in the bay. Theres been an great assortment of species due to the warmer waters and have had a few hook ups with fish ive never caught or seen before like the wrasse and perch. The color on those guys looked like somethin out of a salt water fish tank. So enjoy and please feel free to add any comments good or bad on my modifications. oh yah forgot to mention, headed to Georgia in a couple weeks to visit my folks and weve planned a trip to the Chattahoochi River for a week long camping and tubing (not our kinda tubing) trip right on the river!!!! Heard theres lots of trout and other types of fish, but im not that confident in fast moving waters or trout for that matter. Anyone been out there before or heard of fishing in this river? I cant be beat by my step dad, has a tendency to ask how many fish I've caught while he rakes them in. I cant stand that!!! lol

I like the fins and tackle box mods... for the type fishing you do I can see that tackle box holder coming in very handy... and looks like you caught a good variety of fish... :-)

[cool][#0000ff]WOW! You've been busy...both pimpin' and fishin'. Nice work.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I used to catch a lot of those wrasse in Mexican waters. They are also called Mexican hogfish. Good battlers. Closely related to sheepshead.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Can't tell by the colors but the perch looks like a rainbow perch. Not nearly as common as some of the other varieties. I used to love to sneak around under docks and wharfs and catch the big piling perch on small whole crabs I found in beds of mussels and under rocks along the shoreline.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Keep up the good work and be sure your new recruits are properly checked out on safety issues before they wander out into those busy bays.[/#0000ff]

Man, that is some great stuff !!![Wink] Mods and fishing .
It sure looks like that you have done a lot of work
on your tube. The way I see it is that you will end
up getting a pontoon one of this day [Wink].
But anyways, your mods look just fine to me. The box
is great. Tray is very nice as well.
Fishing- awesome[Wink]
Thank you for sharing and keep it coming .
