Strawcrazy and I went to Buckboard Flaming Gorge Wednesday with a friend who has a nice boat there that is all rigged-up for targeting kokanee. The biggest one we caught was 4lbs 11 oz., the next biggest was 4lbs. 4oz. They were 24in. and 22in. long

We had a great day fishing. We left West Jordan at 2:00am, fished from 5:30am to 1:00pm. arrived home at 5:00pm. At 6:00pm I was having fish for dinner. Long fun day and went to bed early! []

Holy Crap!!! Those things are enormous. I am very jealous!!! Way to go. Great pictures, I hope I get a chance to fish the Gorge this year, what a fishery!!

Nice Kokes.... I was thinking of making atrip to the Gorge this summer. What methods were working? I have no dowriggers at the time (trying to talk the wife into 1 or 2) but have run dipsy divers. I am guessing a dodger followed by a squid. Any info is appreciated.

We were using dodgers followed with squids, changed colors till we found what they were biting on, also tipped with a Berkley maggot. Used downriggers 35-40 ft down.
