Just wondering when the best time to fish Henry's in fall when all the moss is off?

"All" of the moss will not kill off until there is an ice cap. In fact in years past the weeds dieing under the ice cap has lead to big fish kills because of the depleated oxygen.
The weeds start to die back when the air and water temps drop and the sunlight does not reach the weeds as much. This usually happens in mid September. In my experience you still have to look for the lanes in the weeds even when ice fishing.

Wow that's cool. Have been going there early season for the last few years so I was unaware they changed it. When did they do that?

mid-october is my favorite time to fish Henry's from a boat. I usually troll and do pretty good. Last year went up about the last week of october and had to break ice at the state ramp to get the boat in.
