put in at mcp this am at 4:30 whent to hole number 2 and tried to get a few crappie but realized i had not brought any crappie jigs since i was pre fishing for a bass tx on saturday managed to find a few in the boat fished till almost daylight with no luck so put the crappie stuff away and whent to adeepdiveing crsnk bait on my 3 cast caught the weirdest thing i have ever caught in the 32 years i have been fishingemoQuestion i drewback my 7foot crank bait rod and let her go with all my might the crank bait stoped 15yards short of my target and came helicoptering down and looked very strange as i realed it up i seen something on the back hook then on closer inspection isee it is a bat i had him in the back and to the side he was dead so geting the hook out waqs no problem then i whent way up river where i caught 6 bass with 5 keepers and lost 3 best 5 around 16" or so left the water at 9:00 as the sun was getting hot all bass caught iin 7/15fow on worms i have pictures but dont know how to post them forgot to check water tep be for leaveing but it was 85.7 at hole number 2 emoScratch emoThumbsup but all in all it was a good morning will be out their in the am one more time
