<br /> Put in around 5 and headed up river in the miserable heat.But had a good feeling usually with no wind blistering sun and little bit of current the bite is good.. TVA was pulling almost 27,000 which is double of what it has been for the last month.. Started on top a ledge at 20 ft throwing into 35&#43; ft and dragging back up the ledge.. 5 casts in hooked a good one and then about 5 casts later hooked a better one.. Had about 9 1/2 lbs in boat in 2 fish in 10 mins.. made you forget the heat.. Managed to limit out on that spot at about 16 lbs appx. Caught 5 fish there all keepers bite died so headed back river for one more spot .. Hooked 4 more there with 2 keepers and a keeper spot.. One keeper would have culled smallest fish. Ended up with about 17 lbs in 5 and about 12 in best 3.. Fish wouldnt touch a jig today..Fish came on big lizard carolina rigged and caught few on Strike King Series 6XD..About 830 had enough and jumped in to cool off then headed to the dock..
