I posted a similar question last year and received the best recommendation ever. Cobble Rock outside of Duchesne.
But you need to clarify, what is affordable? Mike is 200.00 a gun, but some of the best duck hunting in Utah. Well, in my opinion.
I did receive a few PM's from some guys up north that were either starting a guide business and hadn't received all their stuff yet, or had just started their guide business and wasn't charging very much to get some business started. Maybe one of those guys will shoot you a PM. Sorry I don't have that info anymore.
look up Cobble Rock Enterprises on line. Should get Mr. Mike's website. Me and my brothers (and a friend) booked twice last year and plan on 2-3 trips this year.
Try not to book the days I am going!!! hahahahaha

Pugstone guide service use to guide up at Bear lake and the surrounding area but I haven't heard if he is still in business. I know Bearlakefishguy lives up there and we could ask him to check if you are interested?

That would be great. Do you know if these guides/outfitters rent shotguns as well? I want to rent the gun, try the hunt and see if I like it enough to make the investment in a shotgun etc...

I tried to call and found that he no longer does guided fishing trips on Bear lake, so I can't say for sure if he still does hunts or not. The number at his store is 435-946-2644 but no one answered when I called just a few minutes ago. His name is Jim Stone. Maybe Bearlakefishguy will chime in here, with some up to date info but that is all I can tell you.

Go with Mike, you will be hooked. I go with him 4-5 times a year. The goose hunting is great up there too.

Does Mike rent the shotgun as well? His website appears to be down. Do you know his phone #? I think the $200 price tag is very reasonable.

I have never needed to rent a gun, I am sure he can accommodate almost anything. His number is 435-646-3232. Ask for Mike or Terri.
