Well, I'm still at it. Practice - Practice - Practice.
I've decided to try some #12 hooks for some Elk Hair Caddis Pattern.
Did not take me long to figure out that for details I needed a magnefying glass. [:/] Wonder how Fly-Tiers manage with # 20 to 36 ??? Do they wear for glasses bottom of Coke bottle lens? [frown]
What a difference it makes, but you got to find the confortable distance of the lens with the tip of your vice.
Practice - Practice - Pratice

My eyes are not young any more so in addition to wearing a pair of Ben Franklin reading glasses I wear a pair of Opti-Visors which combined provided me with all the optic power I need. BTW a good high intensity lamp is a must.[/#008000][/font]

Thanks for the suggestion. I went to Lee Valley Tools and tried a pair on. It wasn't good for me. No comfortable and did not like the quality and magnification of the lens.

[fishin] hi,lovely flies,on your buzzers instead of a heavy head try cdc in a loop when it lands on water a quick pull on line to submerge fly it will form a bubble just like a natural ready to hatch.
