This is a new record Northern Pike in Canada .. He caught it on Turtle Lake. Check this thing out.. The man was fishing and caught a 36" Pike. As he was reeling it in, a 56" - 55 lb Pike tried to eat it !!!!! He landed them both in the same net.
Here are a few more pictures from that trip...

Holy alligator, Batman! Don't dangle your toes in the water there!
That's a cool fish. I'd be thrilled with one half that size.

if i'm not mistaken, those pike pictures have been in circulation on the internet for quite some time....especially the last one of the fish in the water. think i saw that one at least over a year ago.

These pics have been around a few years. Always funny to see peoples reaction to them tho.

[indent]yeah, you've got that right. i grew up back in wisconsin and pike were always one of my favorites to fish for. incredibly exciting fish. all things considered, i probably caught more pike when i was fishing for pan fish with light gear with crappie minnows under a bobber.....what a rush when one of those brutes stirred things up.

Not only have those photos been around for a long time, the place where taken has been attributed to several locations. Holland used to be the most common, than now it seems to be Canada.
