Wow, what awesome weather! emoSun <br /><br />David and Christy Kopf came over from memphis for Labor Day Weekend and wanted to enjoy a morning on the water. They couldn&#39;t have picked a nicer day.<br /><br />Christy hasn&#39;t fished too much, but fessed up right off the bat saying, &quot;All I want is to catch one bigger than he does.&quot; emoPoke <br /><br />Done!<br /><br />It was actually pretty slow this morning. We had to work for what we caught. But we had some decent fish. Christy lost one big one right off the bat. Not sure how big but it was big enough to &quot;blow bubbles&quot; before it came unbuttoned. We were a little heartbroke. But she made up fo it a while later with a solid 15 lber.<br /><br />I just LOVE it when catfish newcomers see their first-ever respectable blue come to the surface. Christy was like a little kid at Christmas. I know for some a 15 is NBP (No Big Deal), but when you get to see it happen through the eyes of first-timers, especially on light tackle, it has a tendency to keep you grounded. <br /><br />We only put about ten cats in the boat this morning. All but the 15 lber. won a free ride to Memphis... on ice. And that means life is good and gettin&#39; better every day.<br />
