finally got out for a few minutes in muddy creek late saturday. Fished from half time of the UT-UTM game to 1/2 way in third quarter. fished back in a cover around brush, docks and some weeds growing at waters edge. threw top water frog (it was on from my last visit to guntersville a month ago). Nothing on that. flipped a tube bait into the first dock and got one bite -- mised. tried the weeds at the bank in 6 inches of water with a white spinnerbait -- bam!! -- a 12 incher came out. Hit the next dock with the spinnerbait out outside corner pole -- bam again -- 14 incher. Next dock a keeper and week line again --- another 12 incher. Good for 30 minutes of fishing (all within 100 yards of the house). Water depth was 3 ft down to 6 inches. water temp was 83. alot of bait in the cove -- looks like this cooler water is getting them interested. Hadn't fished since early august and that was down at guntersville. sorry -- no pics
