I took my nephew out to Calville yesterday around 6 in the p.m. Let me tell ya man that's a Hike!!! We stopped right by a small "cove" just by the tires. Tried looking for some shad around the area but no luck with the net so started using some night crawlers. We casted out and i was messing around with a spinner bait but no luck on that. Just about 10 min into it my nephew was hooked. He got a decent channel cat. About 30-40 min later i start getting some bites finally hook it and i look over to my nephew jumping up and down and i see his rod getting huge bites i tell him and he hooks it on. two more cats!! Threw the rods out again but nothing. We left around 730, woulda stayed longer but had no gear. It was the first time we went out there and just wanted to check the area out. Good time we had tho. If u like to hike and have some good fishing opps that's a good place.
