<br /> Took my brother bright and early this morning for some Crappie fishing. Started out really fast and was catching some 13-13 1/2 fish about every other cast. Well...I was anyway's. Put 8 in the boat before he finally got the hang of it. Nailed down 15 within the first hour. <br /> decided to check on a few spots I like to fish in the spring but only pick up a few here and there. We did manage to get another 7 good keepers in the well on up river. All fish in 10-12 feet of water but deeper right on the edge.<br /> On the way back into Soddy, we seen a runabout coming out of the creek and smoking like crazy! We turned around to see what was up and smoke started to roll. The guy got what fire he had out pretty quick and we trolled over to see if we could help. There was still allot of crakin and popin under the engine so we dumped even more of another boats fire extinguisher under it. Seemed ok after that and I help tow the guy in from the bridge to Holly Circle He offered me 40 bucks I could nt take it. I just told him to return the favor and be polite. Plus he will need that 40. <br /> Boat is still running great and I do think the problem is fixed. Had a good time hangin with my brother and put 22 in the freezer.
