Got up early and was the first boat to launch at the little white church.

We went to try some planted areas with no luck.
We went right to the life of the Troll and started in on catching crappie.
With the feeding cycles getting close together we tried all sorts of different colors before the 1/16 pearlesence twin tail was the hot ticket.
We fished deep and slow with the rushing water and still water being about equal today.
We saw bass boats all over the place and the water was high so most of the pontoons and such couldn't get under the bridge.
The bass guys weren't very successful, so we gave free lessons on the system to a few folks and we ended up with 31 crappie about 25 keepers.
A 19 inch largemouth a fat spot and a yeller.
We released all fish today except one crappie that struggled. I noticed a blue heron made lunch out of him!
Got out right after noon.
Temp was 78.9 and ended at 82

We took pics of the trashy green fish and here they are!
emoCool
