Fishing Forum

Does anybody have a good fishing map of Strawberry Reservoir? I've been there many times, but quite often I hear of a place from the posts here, and have no idea where that is on the lake.. For example, "The Knolls" or "The Ladders", or "Renegade".

For Renegade, I think it's at the south end of the lake by the ramp down there, but for the life of me, I've never had a bite anywhere down there. I keep seeing threads about people hauling them in by the boatload there, but I've never seen anything down by renegade. I must be using the wrong stuff, or maybe fishing the wrong spots..

So anyway, if anybody has a good fishing map that they could post of Strawberry, and/or Utah Lake that has all the popular spots labeled with the names that are used on the forum here, I would really appreciate you posting a reply with the map as an attachment.

As for fishing reports, I'm heading to Wyoming this weekend to fish with my brothers, and I'll post a report when I get back on Sunday or Monday.

Also, I plan on going up to Strawberry next Saturday because I hear the fish are starting up.. Here's hopin' for the best..

Sportsman's carries Curtis Sportbert's " Fishin Map Co. maps. Has maps for almost all waters in Utah. $6.95 I think. His maps are made from original USGS survey maps. They have topo lines, access points, services available, etc.

Yup ... I couldn't agree more. Those "FISH-n-MAP" maps really provide a lot of very good info. They are definately the first place to start looking to get educated about that lake.

I've collected a few marked up maps, but Strawberry is not on the list.

So what - has Tubedude not fished there?? : )

I tried searching for those maps online, but didn't get a hit. Anyone got a link to an online source for 'em?
$6.95 I can handle - it's the $100 for the GPS software that stunts my pocket.

I have a topo of bear lake, and having that underwater strucure mapped out is pretty nice. I'd really like to see those Sportbert maps.

Tubedude will probably chime in here, but I am sure that he has a few maps around. I think Pat prefers waters with many different types of fish in them....I don't know tho,
