I was busy this AM so I didn't get to go out until afternoon. I fished for about 3 hours with our little fish dog, Chicago. He got to lick all the fish that I caught. He has a preference for crappie. Those trashy green fish turned him off. emoBig
<br /><br />I started off looking for bass at the junction of Wolftever and the River. Saw Labman and his better half there just before they left. I fished around there for a while and then decided to do some scouting for the rest of the PM. I wound up on the bluff where I caught some fish a couple of days ago and all I got there were bass. I was looking for crappie by that time. Chicago still licked them. <br /><br />Then I switched to another vertical structure in the middle of the river and caught another bass and bluegill. Then I went to a dock that I caught fish on last week. I caught 5 crappie there and then went on with my scouting. Didn&#39;t catch another fish. But, the dog definitely likes the crappie better than the bass. A couple of bluegills, one on the mid-river structure and the other on a dock. Nothing big. I caught most of the crappie on the electric chicken bg shad. The bass came on s/p stubby butts. emoBig emoGeezer
