Headed up to Strawberry this last Sunday morning with a friend. It was a beautiful day the entire time we were there, no wind, we didn't quit until about 1:30PM and the lake was still calm. Tried trolling our favorite area's of the lake first with no luck, finally picked up a few cookie cutter's (19"-20") by Haw's point. We ended up catching 6 fish the first 4 hours (pretty slow). Then decided to try the Mudd creek area in about 20-30' of water and finally found the fish, then it started and the bite was on. We ended up picking up another 12 fish in next two hours and lost/missed another 5-6. They were all caught trolling with Rapala's and Blue Fox spinners. We got 16 Cutthroat and 2 Rainbow's total. I included a picture of one of the cookie cutter's we got. I don't take to many pictures because I don't like to handle the fish anymore then necessary to make sure they are released unharmed.
