Went to Willard yesterday for a fun day with my 10 year old. We enjoyed the day and were getting ready to call it quits when to my surprise and enjoyment , the fun began. I watched a couple birds smacking the water and as i got closer it was true. There was a higher power shining on us or at least for my 10 year old. I could have cared less but wanted to see him tangle with some wipers. It made the whole day to see him catch this 22 inch wiper and then to listen to him that this is awesome. When can we come again. He hated fishing willard until today now thats all he wants to do. Guess we will make it again soon.

What really surprised me was that there was only 2 other boats by us enjoying the fun. I thought this was really strange cause anyone and everyone had to pass us as they left to go home. You could not miss us.

Thats awesome. My daughter loves fishing willard, hates going anywhere else. Last year about this time she out fished everyone in the boat and got her limit.
