Spent an evening and the following morning at Renegade Point on Strawberry with my wife and baby. Water was about 55° if my fish finder is correct. Caught a handfull of slot cutts on a gold spoon with orange. Got a few hits on other stuff but none of those hooked. Spent some time trying to learn the tube jig method with no luck.
The fishing was okay, considering it was the first time out with a 1 year old helping with everything.
Best fish was about 20" that the wife brought in and she even touched the 'icky thing' for a picture.

Any fishing trip with the family is a great trip. My wife still won't touch the "icky things", so you have made more progress than I have.

Fishing with a Cuddy Buddy is the best. They keep u warm at night too. Good on ya to make it fun for her. It takes some sacrice but worth every minute.
