Went out with a friend this weekend to some of our favorite ponds and lakes. Was able to catch brookies, tigers, browns, and cutts on a variety of flies. Well worth the drive. I don't know if that plus some of the pics I posted are enough of a hint, but I'm curious to see if anyone recognizes this area. Would love to swap stories with anyone that does. Either way, enjoy the pics and the beautiful scenery.

Kinda looks like the boulders.
we drove my truck up that road. i then scheduled my self for reconstructive back surgery. we had the place to ourselves until a guy came on his 4 wheeler and asked Orvis1 if it was my truck. he said he had never seen anyone drive that far up in a regualr (not lifted) truck before. the water looks way low compared to just 2 months ago (or so?) great pics!

Yeah, we were in a stock truck too. Had to move some roks along the way. It's worse than I remembered it. 4-wheeler is a better option for sure. I got into some big ones there (not pictured) and on the Henry's last week. I'll post some pics. As for this lake, some crazy big tigers that wanted nothing to do with my flies. They were really active where the water flows in at dusk. Sounded like toilet bowl flushes or something. Great times and scenery up there though!
