What depth were you fishing at? In some of the photo's it looks like you are in the middle of some bay. Although they say the fall brings them into the shallows, this warm weather probably makes the fish think twice. Anyway, I was just curious where you had the best luck?

18' to 30' was my catches. That bay was 20' deep for the most part.
I don't want to bore you with the Fly Fishing details,( I will put it in my blog.)
Best part of this trip was the company. It just don't get any better.

Zach did have one on deep nymphing and i am pretty sure it had some shoulders.

Weather was most co-operative however, glass smooth isn't always a good thing. Strawberry is deep enough it can work, plus the tail end of the full moon.

One of these days I am going to get a double with some actual fish on them. I have gotten several doubles, but they always seem to be doubles of smaller fish (nothing over 15 inches). It's still a lot of fun though. Nice looking pictures.

After loosing two of them to the depths, I am now buying ALLEN'S reels[]

Seriously - looks like a good time, good company, good fish. And MAN what a big deck you have on that new toon dude! It's so big it sticks way out the back of your truck! Now you need a bigger bed so lay your deck on it without it flopping all over the place.

I was trying to find a recording of that routine I had once. Can't find it.... but youtube'll get ya there!
