I had not fished in over a month (at least it seems like it) so I emailed DK and invited him to go whenever he had time. He had time today so we started out about 8:45 and stopped about 1:00. We thought the wind would be too much to fish the river and open water so we opted for fishing WT creek instead (another great idea DK had). We fished docks with moglo BG's and stubby butts in shad colors dipped in chartruce on the tip on 1/32 oz jig heads and they worked really well today.

We wanted to fish the main lake but the white caps were too tough today.

Fish seemed to be extra shallow and most of our fish were caught in less than 5 dor 6 FOW. A few were caught in less than 2 fow.
We wound up with 37 crappie, 1 bass, 1 drum, a few blue gill, 1 yellow bass, plus several early releases at the boat of some keeper crappie.
Our total keepers were 17 for a friend that just loves crappie and he's even willing to clean them.

It's always a great pleasure to fish with The DrumKing and I'm always learning from him. Thanks for sharing the boat with me today Dickie. Let's not wait so long to do it again.
