Pete Jr. and I fished out of Riverpark the last 2.5 hrs. up til dark. The flow was 33K cfs, the surface temp. was 77.<br /><br />While I waited for him to get off work, I trolled a bomber/spoon combination (remember that one old-timers?) for about 15 min. with the rod in a rod holder. I got a vicious strike, which I&#39;m surprised didn&#39;t break the line or the rod. It caused a huge backlash against the drag!. Turned out to be about a 10 lb. buffalow that hit the spoon.<br /><br />We fished rip-rap for a while with all kinds of lures and caught nothing. We decided to head up to the dam the last hour or so and caught a chunky 18 in. LM on a spinner bait and a pretty 18.5 in. smallie on a crank bait. Also a gar and a yellow bass. All fish released.
