Hey all,
I have never caught a lmb but reeeaaallly want to and have a buddy in town this week that feels the same way. Problem is I don't know where at the lake to find them. Anyone have any recommended spots and/or lures that can snag a lmb (or smb if you have advice for them too) from the shore? Willing to drive or hike excessive distances if necessary.
Thanks guys.

Kinda hard to target lmb or smb specifically at mead without a boat but can be done. Your best bet right now is echobay head north find a nice lil cove and be set up and on the shoreline at sunrise. Probe all the immediate coves with spinnerbaits cover much ground as possible also try texasriged worm n crankbaits any craw pattern lure should do but try em all just keep castin [cool]also if ya get desprete head out to floyd scam park and fish the back pond with sm spinners good luck.

Excellent, thanks for the tips. Should be heading out tomorrow morning, if I get any luck you'll definitely hear about it post haste.

If the crankbaits and spinners are not workin, you could try and take some jigs, with a single or double tail grub and cast out and bounce them up the bottom back to you. If you get snagged to much just try and texas rig it or something. I have had some luck with that recently.[fishin]
