Whenever I open Mozilla Firefox I get the following warning:

"Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?"

Can someone please help me solve this? Also, please reply with step-by-step instructions. Thanks.

Hey Kent,

That warning is annoying, but all that it is telling you is that you if you are going to a page that is encrypted or not....It will not hurt anything, but it can get old clicking ok every time.

To remove this warning:

Make sure you update to the latest version of firefox....go to their website and download if you can't find the following steps on your version:

Click on:

Tools -> Options -> Security -> Warning Messages.

Just make sure they are all unchecked, See screen shot below.

Hope this helps,

what do you want done with it? all its saying is the page is not totally secure. are you doing anything that needs to be protected? it may not be firefox but the site its self too. if you need to have protected browsing then i would go to private browsing under the tools tab. i am no expert but i do know a little [cool]

Go to 'tools' (next to help above where you type the web addresses), then 'options', then select 'security' (looks like a lock. Then click on 'settings' on warning messages. Uncheck the pesky message that is bothering you.

Thanks man that was annoying. At first I thought my computer had been hacked. [crazy]

The warning messages were saying the FBI would arrest me if I entered this site. And fined up to $100,000 and six months in jail. Har har har I'm so funny![sly]
