I took the wife out on Saturday afternoon for a quick fishing trip. We managed 15 or so small fish. We hit the water (hemmingway) at about 11:00 or so.

I bought the wife a new purple set-up and she rocked it for quite a few fish. I think she officially caught the record SMALLEST striper by rod and reel. lololol The striper needed to stetch to reach 5". A gambling man may have free lined this little guy out in the depths. lololol

We worked Las Vegas Wash shorelines for a bit and picked up a few small largemouth and baby striper before heading across to my new secret smallmouth spot where we caught 5 or 6 small brownies before heading home. It was a fun trip with the wife and we were done by 3:30. Until next time [fishin]

This was the "biggest" of a few Largemouth lolol

Nice report Vegaskid. I caught my first smallie a couple weekends ago. He was only 10" but he sure felt bigger.
It's always funny landing fish on baits that are nearly as big as them.

Im tellin ya. My first smallmouth came this year too and it seems they are just everywhere now. The way they fight, man; I think its my favorite fish at meade now.
