Fishing seems to be really hit or miss right now with the warm trend we've had over the past two weeks. The morning bite has seemed best but bigger fish are still biting in the mid-late afternoon in the right places. Fishing will improve a lot on Carters with the coming cooler weather later this week.

I was out yesterday with a couple of CFF members. Dennis, Roger and I fished from 7am-3pm fishing everything in the boat from 5ft-40ft. We ended the day boating approx 10 spots w/ biggest being 4lbs and also had a few other solid fish thrown in as well. The water temp was 72 when we started and ended at 81 this has really put the fish in a negative mood. We focused most of our day on Sonar Interpretation/Sight Fishing with both the side imaging unit and sonar. We located a few area's that were loaded with fish and was only able to catch a fish or two out of each school. We caught fish on Spinnerbaits, Crankbaits, Drop Shots, Texas Rigs, and Topwater. Great guys to spend the day with and I really appreciate the trip and will see you guys again in December!

Here is Dennis with a big spot from the trip.

LB

WE'RE ALSO PLANNING A BENEFIT TOURNAMENT FOR A VERY GOOD FRIEND AND LONG TIME TOURNAMENT FISHERMAN FROM CHATSWORTH, CURTIS LOVE.
