Not sure but it's also called Delta Reservoir
DMAD Reservoir is a large reservoir in the eastern Sevier Desert near Delta, UT. The reservoir is an impoundment of the river valley, where it has cut through
some deposits, forming a serpentine valley about 1 mile wide and 80 feet deep. The reservoir is also called Delta Reservoir, and is referred to as "The D.M.A.D.".
forgive my ignorance but what does dmad stand for? I usually don't fish that far down south.
[cool][#0000ff]After my poor excursion there, I am sure it should be called the DAMN reservoir. But, according to other sources:[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
The dam and reservoir were a cooperative project of four irrigation companies (Delta, Melville, Abraham, and Deseret), resulting in the lake's name: DMAD Reservoir.
