I finally got to get out on the lake on a full moon. I went with a couple of good friends to a lake up north and had a great time. I caught 6 and missed four. It sure is a lot different than fishing in a river. It took me a couple times to learn to pull on the line to set the hook instead of the rod. The clouds disappeared around 10 pm and the moon came out. It was a gorgeous night. Taking photos at night is a lot harder than in the day. If anyone has a good "waterproof" camera that works good at night please respond.

I would press the button to take a picture and then there was a long delay. I am sure I just have the settings wrong. I am using a Pentax Optio W30

Well, back to the fish. I caught mine on Black egg sucking leech. It was great. We just threw to the bank and stripped and then BAM! fish on!

Thanks FlyGoddess!! The H3 I bought from you works great!! Yes, I am hooked but I still love the river.

Below is a sample of some of the bows. It was great all the fish were over 18-19 inches.

AWESOME!!! We gotta hit some stillwater next year!

As far as camera, I had the Pentax and it took a crap on me. Everything looks over exposed. I got the Kodak Play Sport...check it out...it's cheap and HD on the movie end.

You betcha. After this year I am done coaching little league forever(my son will be in high school) so my time has freed up big time. Lookout fish!

Hopefully we'll see you again at Mike's fishing class in Bountiful this winter.
