On Sunday we had the opportunity to fish with an ole friend of mine Capt. Steve Brown out of Destin Fl. Capt Steve really knows his stuff, and after catching bait he put us on a couple of spots with 12 miles of the beach where we loaded up on amberjack and red snapper. We got our fill of jacks, hooking 8 to 12lbers on every drop. After dad and the boys got tired catching the jacks, we went to the super secret red snapper hole where each of caught our limit in less than 45 minutes. The red snapper were the bigguns too! We had just a short ride back to the dock where Catmaster and Catwhacker (kids division) weighed in the biggest daily caught red snappers in the month long Destin Fishing Rodeo. I highly recomend Capt Steve Brown for groups of less than six anglers. His rates are reasonable, and he is just as good on cobia, redfish and sea trout. Also, Capt. Steve is from the Chattanoooga area. I will post video when I get back home.
