Today my niece and I headed down to sugarhouse park to explore the fishin options. we headed down to the inlet of the duck pond to see if we could spot some carp or something when we stumbled across this guy (picture included), looks like a bonneville cutthroat maybe washed down from parley's canyon. I was interested to hear people speculation about where this fish came from.
Thanks,
Eric
Looks like a rainbow.

Uuuuuuuumm OK Tomegun i'll take your word for it. WAIT'n for the "Damn Bucket Biologist " Comments. Maybe Bassrods knows when the DWR planted them in there too?

That's a "native" cutthroat. I caught them when I was a kid sneaking onto the old Utah State prison grounds, a long time ago. Parley's creek has a lot of them.

Bowcutt is right. I would not say "alot" of them, but there are more then you would think lurking under the trees in Sugarhouse park.
That one is bigger then most with the average being in the 8-9 inch range,

It's most likely a carp dressed up for Halloween.

You must be right the Bucket put it in there all by its self...

That's a native cut. When my wife and I lived in the Avenues, I used to catch a few in city creek by the church office building too! That one looks a little bigger than average though.

It's a cut, the Orange fins are the sure way of telling if they have any cut in them. Even if they are a cutbow they will still have the orange fins
