I doubt it. As I understand it, BFT has been sending out email notices (if one has the box checked to have them sent); however, Hotmail (and perhaps others) have been blocking them as spam. I had the same problem and solved it by setting up a Gmail email account and then I set up that account to forward all messages to my Hotmail account. So now my notices go to my Gmail account and then are forwarded to my Hotmail account. If you don't know how to do this have one of your grandchildren set it up for you the next time they are over.

LOL!! Kent, you have developed a good sense of humor since I last fished with you. LOL!!

Sorry Bassrods ... I just had to laugh ... at your expense ... it was a funny reply to ya.

But seriously Cliff, like Kent infered, notifications not going to you, but going to everyone else, is probably not BFT's problem. It's probably something on your end. It could possibly be an "ID-ten-T" error too.

Also Kent, it's nice to see that TheAngler is poking his head in here once in a great while.[crazy]

[cool][#0000ff]The problem is NOT with Bassrods. Like myself, he has Comcast as a provider. I have checked with Comcast and they have no blocking system in place for BFT emails.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I have been having the same problem for months. When I complained to Mike he had somebody tweak it and I got flooded with a couple of months of back notifications. Choked my system. Then I would get nothing for several days and then a big batch of old notifications. All dated that day.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I have not received a notification for at least three months and hope they never decide to catch me up again.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I have also had PMs from other BFTers with a wide range of providers who have the same problem. It should be a universal system...like any other forum...to send out timely notifications to ANY email address. I have no problem getting emails from any other person or company. In fact, I get a lot of emails I would rather not get. Maybe I will just forward them to Cliff if he is lonely.[/#0000ff]

I ended switching my BFT e-mail address to a gmail account for the same reasons. Works great now.
