Water temps are ranging from 65-69 throughout the lake and river. Fish are still very scattered but they are much more aggressive than last week. The daily average for numbers has increased a bit this week too. Monday and Tuesday between my clients and I together we boated around 20 keepers each day. No big fish boated but a lot of solid keepers and good solid weight. My guys have lost 2 big spots on jerkbait this week, one of which could've been netted easily if I was even a half way decent net man. Sorry Jim I've put my tournament partner through some very stressful times and even cost us a tournament or two over the years LOL.

This week the best baits have been spoons, drop shots, worms, jerkbaits, and fish head spins. 25-40ft main-lake structure is best bet for bites. Same thing with Jerkbait and FH just fish it slow over the structure (ledges) or cover (brush/rocks).

Also, I've had a few PM's asking when I'm gonna start booking Float N Fly trips for this winter. I'm already booking trips in late November for the Float N Fly so if you're wanting a HUGE Spot on Float N Fly call me soon. I will be full before the end of this month more than likely.

BTW, the ugly brown Loomis Rod in the third picture is my clients. I'm St Croix through and through.

L
