Just wondering if any of you will be at strawberry tomarrow morning ( nov 6th ). I will be.

I was also wondering if you carry 2 way radios, if you do what channel would be a good one to share a little info on of what is working. Don't need to let everyone know where you located at but sharing what technique is working would be nice.

If your up for it let me know I will be on station 10 unless someone has a station they like better.

A little late as we are headed there in a few minutes, but always have radios.

Well I tried scanning to see if anyone was using radios today, but never heard a thing.

As for the fishing. It sucked. I hooked one freaking fish in 4 hours and had maybe 6 bumps. The one I hooked got off about 10 feet from the boat. It was about 20" long though.

We were using 2-3" white tube jigs tiped with chub meat. I tried vertical jigging, slow retrieve at all levels. And trolling.

I have come to the conclusion that that lake hates me.

Hope you guys had better luck than I did.

What areas did you try? I didnt do any better at lincoln beach so dont feel bad. There are areas that do hold fish not many but enough to keep your attention.

Sorry to hear that deadi it was another great day for us. The bite was ever so lite though, we ended up with 32 fish by noon, we had to head or we would have caught more, they byte was steady all day. We hit 4 different spots but the producer was our spot 3 from yesterday, they were in there hot and heavy, 2 over the slot, 6 bows for the day, I don't know what it is about that lake many boats around us were not catching fish it was almost hilarious to watch 6 different boats slowly inch towards us. I could have hit them with my jig they got so close. One key was fresh scent on the jigs every cast, pray for another warm spell cause I really want to head back up

There sure were a lot of boats on the water today - beautiful day! Only a few boats we talked to reported good success. Around 8 AM we managed a few good sized cutts ( above or at slot) jigging tubes tip with chub meat, but it soon shut right off. We struggled to keep up with what they wanted (high clouds coming and going across the Sun). Almost about the time we figured out what they were taking, we needed to leave for the Utah game, but it was really fast and furious for 20 minutes just before we left.

What a depressing game [:/], we should have stayed on the water [fishin] the rest of the day catching since the Utes couldn't catch anything [mad].

Our learning of the day.... large olive woolly buggers or leech patterns using slow retrieve, wind drift or slow troll. Buggers were behind a bubble or small sinker in clear water- we noticed our success was much higher in the clearer water!

Personally i stay away from boats they seem to scare away the fish.Usually when you see a boat start catching fish other boats seem to get closer to it. There are spots all over the place that hold fish not many but enough to keep you entertained. Those are the spots you have to hit when its slow everywhere else. Too bad about the Utes but you are only as good as the competition you beat.

EXACTLY FishN2Dmax! I caught several early using Type III and fishing 20' to 30', but by 11 I had switched to an Intermediate. Retrieve? I would strip fast then pause and lift rod tip, the minute I put the tip back down, fish on.
I was getting them on a Chub Special which is a Tan Zonker with red body.
I had allot to the boat and then loose them...dang barbless hooks...LOL
And two actually straightened my hook.

Great day! Except, I am the nut case that was wishing for a little chop to the surface. I know it would have been AWESOME if there was.
We left just as the wind kicked into gear.

[ol][/ol][li][/li]Just a observation, but as I set anchored 15 to 20 feet of water being able to cast to 5 ft of water catching fish with a white tube tipped or scented with roe sent, I see boats drift by troll by or hurry by, NOT catching fish. Right now the fish are in the shallows eating anything that moves. Go to the shalllows and make something move. And then stay there. The fish cruise the weed line and will be by soon, so if your there instead of cruising, it will be like TCU, 47 to 7 It works. [/li][/ol]
