My wife and I went to Causey Saturday, arrived at noon left at 3 p.m. Managed 1 between us, a small tiger, and lost a few spinners in the rocks. Had alot of interest but couldn't get them to take anything, but did get to watch them chase the spinners in all were pretty small. We were fishing from the shore, I would like to get out on the tube one more time out there before it freezes.[fishin]

Sounds like a slow day, next time try tipping you lures with a little piece of worm. This time of the year, a little piece of meat can really make the difference.

Lures were tipped with worm, got the majority of hits on a worm and mallow, went to that after loosing my good spinner. Watched plenty of minnow raids by the bigger fish which was entertaining. I am also convinced that a brass colored spinner is by far the best color to use unfortunatly that was one of the ones i lost.
I will most likely be going back this thursday if the weather holds.

Try an orange spinner. Always seems to work best for me this time of year.
