We went up to see what was happening below Watts Bar Dam this morning. HHmm, let's see. FOG FOG FOG FOG FOG would probably cover it, LOL. Couldn't do much until aroud 8:30. We threw a tube or two and a jerk bait or two with no luck. Finally, we were able to find some minnows and do some real fishing once the fog started to lift and we could actually see the water. We couldn't find any threadfins today, only gizzards. We caught a 17 3/4" and 16" smallie, about 10 catfish (all under 5lbs) and only the Lord knows how many drum we caught. We had many over 7lbs and several over 10lbs. Are drum good for anything besides fertilizer, and who wants to haul them back to the farm anyway? Maybe we should have a drum tournament and not release them. Who knows what we might have caught if we weren't foolin' around with those things?
