Well after the fun Davo and I had yesterday I decided I would head back to Nickajack today. This morning was exactly like yesterday morning. Very slow to start, but by 9am it was on like donkey kong !! I fished the same area as yesterday and the fish were still there. As soon as the bite turned on I caught 2 over 3lbs. About that time a boat came in to fish the same area. After talking to them a bit, they said they were fishing CBA, so I let them have the entire area and wished em luck. I trolled a little bit aways and proceeded to put 4.8lb bass in the boat right in front of them. 
Whoops. Caught a couple 2lbers and decided to move on. Went to one of my favorite fishing spots on the lake. Very little grass. Maybe a stretch of 20 yards wide and 60 yards long and right on the bank, so maybe 2 foot...maybe. Didn't matter . The place was loaded ( Understatement) !! I caught 12 in this one area with the two best being a 5lber and a 4.2lber. And had several more blow ups and near misses !! I'm looking at my livewell, and it kinda hit me......I've have some great weight in there. So I was determined to bust twenty lbs. My 2 smallest at that time were 2.9 and 3.3. An hour later, both were set free , only to be replaced with a 3.9 and a 3.7. So now my best 5 are over twenty !!! emoCool And it's was only 1pm. Fished a couple other areas and continues to lay the smackdown on the bass, but could not get any real giants. Left at 5:30. LOng day, but it was great !! I have pictures of each fish as it's weighed, but it is too much of a hasle to resize all of them, so if you want to see them...... to bad. My final weight ended up 21.6lbs ! Not bad for someone fishing alone and didn't use the net once. All fish were caught on frogs and chatterbaits.
