Late but it's a info that might help.
Fishing in the Vegas wash has slowed a bit.
Fish are moving to the[inline NSCTourn11-10.jpg] winter locations as the lake is starting to turn over.
Places to look for fish are boulder beach and Callvile where we fished the last NSC tourney.
My Sister took 6th with 9.9 lbs and I don't know were I finished yet with 8.8 lbs (4 fish can be weighed)
Fished the rock island that the Whizzle reported about at Callvile. Jigging 1oz castmasters in chrome and blue.
our biggest fish was 22" and 4 lbs most were 2.5 to 3 lbs.

Very cool man - those are some nice fatties. Thanks for the info on the striper location. It seemed like the stripers weren't pounding the coves like they usually do this time of year. Did you have to follow schools around to stay on fish, or are they staying in place?

We anchored up on the school and they hit sporadicly.
One or two every half hour, from about 8am until 12 then again about 4pm.
Cast the spoon and let it fall past the fish, then reel it in fast.
We chumed 8 pounds of bait but that did not seem to turn them on. The fish were full of shad. Also we metered a 40 foot thick ball of bait on the fish finder.
Got one on bait about 8:30pm just after turning off the underwater light.

The standings are finally up dude. Sorry for the delay. Life is busy! See you at the December meeting. We will be giving away a new Henry and a 15" AC Plug to get everyone ready for the winter. BTW, the new website is getting close. Hopefully we can launch it around new years eve. If there is any content you would like to see on the new site, please shoot me an e-mail. I also would like to see the local fisherman join our discussion board as well.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Forgot about Tom, that moved us all down one spot.
Can't wait for the new NSC site and forum, Facebook is just not for me.
Rezdog - We were in Tucson for Thanksgiving and my Uncle was in a giving mood. So he gave me his 19'-6" fiberglas center console with 115 hp out board and stainless steel trailer.
Now I just need to get it home, he even offered to tow it for me. So maybe after the new year and some minor things it will be ready for the March tourney to kick off the season.

We are going to need a tune up and may need new fuel lines, the boat has sat for two years. Got a mechanic you might suggest?
Also we have items for the yard/garage sale, are you collecting yet? (fishing stuff only)

I have heard a lot about those guys. Nothing but good.
