Headed up to the Berry yesterday with my Dad and brother. We left salt lake around 8:30 and arrived around 10. We decided to hit Haw point in hopes to avoid the "20 mph wind" That we predicted. When we arrived the water was smooth and no wind. We started out with white jigs and minnows. I ended up catching on 18" Cutt within 30 minutes.. i was hoping this was a good sign of things to come, but not really. We kept fishing in the shallows with little to not luck. My dad missed a few hits but then got in the groove and landed a healthy 23" 6lbs Cutt. We ended up catching a few more in the 18" range and then headed home around 3. Not a bad way to spend the day off from work.

Not to get off the subject of this post, but as in the title to the post.... strawberry is a good option for cutts and bows, and a good chance at a decent fish. A little closer to you, Deer Creek has many rainbows. There are some very nice trout in there as well, but I would say the average will run a little smaller. Anyways, good luck on your search, I would say they are probably the easiest fish to find/catch here in Utah.
P.S. These are just an idea, you can catch rainbows in most bodies of water (lakes and streams) here throughout the state.
