Hit Pineview today for my last float of the year. My goal was to target Perch and Crappie and for once I actually accomplished what I set out to do. Caught lots of smaller Perch, small/midsized Crappie, and two nice 12 inch plus Crappie. I had enough action to help me forget how cold my feet were. Since I was Tubing in breathables for 4 hours I can attest that the water in Pineview is getting cold. Hard deck will be here before long. I was hoping all the dink Perch from last year would produce bigger Perch this year but from my small sampling of Pineview today, still lots of dinks.

What part of the lake were you in? I am hoping to try to get out at least one more time this year before ice.

I launched at Port Ramp and kicked out to Browning Point. Not to bad of a distance as long as the wind cooperates.
