Anyone have any luck targeting kokanee on the hard deck? Looking to figure it out this winter, any tips would be much appreciated.

Yes, it's possible. Better success on the smaller koke lakes as the fish stay schooled up and when they pass by, the action is usually fast & furious. It's hard to keep them around for long though. You just have to wait for them to make their rounds. The smaller lakes tend to to produce smaller fish but it sure would be nice to get into them at Flaming Gorge once.

Oh yeah it can be done quite easily. I like to use a small pearl white tube (costom made) and tuned right and coated in a secret subject, as well tipped with a meal worm in a secret manner. I guess success is all in the secrets..[sly]

Also it's the secret 10lb. downrigger ball you use to get to depth, isn't it?
