Can anyone tell me the current water level at Newton? I was there about a month ago, and it was pretty low, wondering if it has came up any or still dropping? Thanks in advance for any info.

Its near the same level as it was a month ago. Very slow to fill, considering that clarkston creek is the only water that feeds it it wont fill till run off next spring. If i had to guess its coming up @ less than a foot every 2 weeks.

End of August it got below the ramp - 1st pic.
2nd pic - By Oct 17th it was a couple feet lower, and had pumpkins floating abouts. The second time was a bit unnerving getting the boat in-out, but managed. Just very steep. Mine's a small boat.

The perch and crappie were pretty cooperative. Lots of busy body little bass. Haven't found the big-uns. Seen plenty of musky activity, but haven't got into them much, though I did land my first this summer.

I know Hyrum had filled up a couple feet in the weeks apart I'd been there. Sorry to hear that Newton won't refill much before spring. Might be worth shoving my boat off the trailer one more time. Though many of the other ramps around are quite accessible.
