Dave Jason and I hit the berry thur. about 8:30 for a full day of fishing. They were hitting from the first cast to the last. We were using white tubs with cut bait and doing well. We have a first, the most, the biggest, and the last contest each time. Dave got the first, I got the biggest at 23 in. and also the most and the last, while Dave was backing in the boat trailer. Jason got cleaned. All in all we caught 81, 34,25, and 22. The difference in the # came when I dropped the size of my jug to 2" skinny, form the 2 1/2 inch fat. It was cold so I down sized. Was a great trip. Three over the slot .the rest, slot. We figured that we had over 240 # of fish caught on this trip. I Used a sycle hook jig head from TCI fishing lures. Best hooks I've ever used. No picts. but we really did catch that many. We also taught some fellow BFT'ers how to fish the jug and where to fish them. They had 22 by the time they left at noon. Great to share the fish with others.
